6th ANNUAL VIRGINIA BEACH FOOD GALASeptember 28th - 30th, 2007(Neptune Festival Weekend - See poster below)The Annual Fish Fry and BBQ is back on track with a few changes this year! First, for the first time we are renting two beach houses for folks who would like to mix and groove with others under one roof. (See info below). The second change this time around is that the Big BBQ on Saturday (with Grill Master Mike) will be held at the KOA campgrounds. There's a huge gazebo, basketball court, volleyball, and lots of open space to lay around and watch your belly swell! 11am to 11pm. The new location means that we will be charging $15 per adult to cover cost and help pay for my new BMW. Children under 80 lbs. with no hair under their arms will only be charged 5 bucks. Kids over 80 lbs. with hair covering their bodies from head to toe will be charged the Big Foot rate of $10. Lastly, the "Fish Fry, Bye-Bye" get-together will be held at the beach house on Sunday, 11am to 9pm. For those interested in staying at one of the houses, there are enough beds for 39 people. Really. We may be able to fit a few more with air mattresses, but that is not definite. If you want to stay for the weekend, it's $90 per person. Food is included (Friday - big sandwiches, salads, snacks, beverages; Saturday morning - breakfast; Sunday - Fish Fry.) That covers you from Friday after 3pm until Monday 8:30am. Rooms are first-come, first-served. Some rooms share a bathroom, some have a private bathroom. There are different size beds, but we have been told all of them are comfortable. This is not really about the rooms - it's about hanging out, having fun, enjoying everyone's company, and "getting your groove on" however you want! If you're interested, please contact us using the numbers below to reserve a space. We need to know as soon as possible and the payment (at least half) should be in by August 21st. Please let us know ASAP - the sooner we know how many people to expect, the smoother things will go!
